Over the next few weeks I will be posting about some interesting topics that are core to Haddington Solutions business model.<\/p>\n
I will firstly be exploring the new service recently rolled out by Microsoft, called Windows365.<\/a><\/p>\n This new service will enable our clients to spin up a fully Windows enabled cloud computer that we can use to run a variety of Data Analysis and Data Integration jobs.<\/p>\n This will enable our customers to be completely in control of their own data while also adhering to company wide Windows security policies.<\/p>\n The next blog will take you through the set up of the statical software package, R<\/a>.<\/p>\n R is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. It compiles and runs on a wide variety of UNIX platforms, Windows and MacOS.<\/p>\n We will use R to call an API through a package in the software to gather some data into an output file on our Windows365 machine mentioned above.<\/p>\n The next part of the blog will be to set up a freeware ETL tool called Talend<\/a>.<\/p>\n Talend is free tool we will be using to orchestrate the running of our R script created earlier.<\/p>\n There is a considerable amount of set up required to actually get Talend to run on a Windows Machine.<\/p>\n I will walk you through this step by step after which, we will then connect this software to your Salesforce Org.<\/p>\n
